Hi, I’m Morgan—the human behind Morgan and the Mules.
I’m a mom to two little girls, I work full-time in the finance world, and somewhere between work, motherhood, and muddy boots, two rescue mules changed my life.
Mufasa and Aslan came to me in 2025 after landing in a kill pen. They had spent years as working cart mules, and I began learning how to build a relationship with them through patience, curiosity, and trust.
They’ve taught me to slow down, question the way things have always been done, and listen—even when the answer isn’t the one I hoped for.
Big ears. Bigger lessons.
My approach to horsemanship centers on positive reinforcement, choice, and understanding the animal in front of me. I believe behavior is communication, fear deserves compassion, and trust is something we earn.
I’m still learning alongside my mules. I share the small wins, the setbacks, and the moments that remind me why this matters. My hope is to encourage more people to ask questions and make kindness part of their everyday work with horses and mules.
Apparel with something to say.
Morgan and the Mules grew out of those beliefs. I wanted to create clothing that feels good to wear and starts conversations about how we treat our animals.
Some designs are playful. Some are a little outspoken. All come from a place of caring deeply about equines and believing we can do better for them.
As this business grows, my goal is to give back to mule rescue and help more long-eared animals get the safety, care, and second chances they deserve.
Thank you for being here, supporting this small business, and helping make compassionate horsemanship a little more visible.
For the love of mules—and a kinder way forward.
Morgan
